What are the Door Times, Stage Times & Curfews?
We don’t announce specific stage times in advance. We advise to check our and/or artist/band socials on the day of the show.
Doors: 7pm – Curfew: 11pm
Doors: 6/6.30pm – Curfew: 9.45pm/10pm/10.30pm
Fri/Sat Club Nights run from 10.30/11pm until 3am.
These times are not guaranteed. We advise to follow the details on your ticket. Please arrive early to avoid disapointment.
What about booking Tickets / Box Office?
We have NO daytime walk-in box office. We recommend visiting our What’s On page to purchase tickets in advance. Our primary ticketing partner is SEE TICKETS and we advise to always use a primary ticket seller when purchasing tickets. Tickets from unofficial sellers may not be valid and you could be refused entry.
If you need to pick up tickets, you are able to do so at the Box Office, which opens with the doors for each event.
What about Refunds / Reselling Tickets?
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for our tickets, however we have partnered with TicketSwap as our official ticket reseller. Selling tickets anywhere other than Ticketswap is strongly discouraged.

What are the age restrictions for Club Nights?
Our Club Nights are strictly 18+. All customers coming to our club nights are required to provide physical photographic ID before being admitted. This can be a passport or driving license. Please make sure that everyone in your group is aware of this as it is enforced and refusal of entry for one person can be very disappointing for the whole group. The venue has the right to refuse admission.
What are the age restrictions for Live Shows?
No one under 14 can be admitted.
14 can be admitted.14 and 15-year olds MUST be accompanied by an 18+ adult whilst in venue.
16 and over do not need to be accompanied by an adult.
You may be required to show proof of age. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 14 years of age will not be admitted to this event and will not be eligible for a refund.
What is accepted as an appropriate form of ID?
- Passport
- national identity card with a photograph (within European Union)
- Valid, photographic, driver’s licence
- Photographic student identity card, from a UK educational facility with a current admissions date

Is there a Dress Code?
Smart casual
No flip flops/slippers
No gymwear
What about Cameras and Video/ Audio Recording Equipment?
Small compact cameras, a size that would fit in a pocket, are allowed at most of our events.
Professional type cameras (SLRs with interchangeable lenses) are not allowed, with the exception of official photographers covering the event. Video cameras and professional audio recording equipment are not allowed either. NO selfie sticks. Vlogging needs permission from the artist/promoter.
How do I get a press pass?
To get a press pass please contact the promoter of the event. The promotion company presenting each event in the What’s On section above the name of the event. We do not issue press passes.
Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, we have a cloakroom, where we charge a small fee per item (we accept cash and/or card).
Only one small bag per person is permitted. Small bags (max. A4 size), small backpacks, laptop cases and coats are permitted. Large bags or (any size of) suitcases cannot be stored with us, or taken into the venue. Please note we are not responsible for any items in the cloakroom.
What about Lost Property?
If you have lost property, please contact us via email – [email protected] – and tell us about what you have lost. We’ll get in touch to let you know if it was found or not and will arrange a time to pick it up. We will hold on to lost property / unclaimed items for 28 days, after which they will be discarded.
What about Accessibility / Disability Access?
If you have accessibility requirements and wish to attend a show, please head to our Disabled Access page first for all relevant information regarding how to buy an accessible ticket (linked on the individual event), then contact us prior to the show – admin@electricballroom.co.uk. – so that we can ensure we can provide you with all necessary requirements.
Please note, if this option is not available on the event page, we have filled our allocation.
What about own food and drinks ?
No external food or drinks are allowed inside the venue, , including chewing gum. If you need to bring food or drink with you for medical reasons, please contact us beforehand via email – [email protected].
What about Smoking/Vaping inside the venue?
No smoking / vaping inside the venue. There is a designated outdoor smoking area to the left of the building.
What about re-entry if I leave the venue?
We do not allow re-entry to an event unless it’s specified. Please make sure to pick up any belongings you have left in our cloakroom before you leave.
General Conditions of Entry!
We reserve the right to conduct security searches on entry and exit of the premises. This policy is in place to maintain the safety of our customers and to prevent illegal activity. Anybody found in possession of illegal or contraband goods may be liable for prosecution. Refusal to be searched may lead to ejection and indefinite exclusion from the premises.
Electric Ballroom operates a zero-tolerance policy with regards to illegal drugs. Anyone found to be taking or distributing illegal substances will be ejected and potentially reported to the authorities. If you need to bring medication to our venue, please contact us beforehand and bring a copy/picture of the prescription.
However, if you have taken something and start to feel unwell please tell a member of staff immediately.
