I feel like we’ve been somehow kind of gaining the ability to make more accessiblemusic year by year, even if other people don’t always hear it that way. I feel like we’ve changed a lot. It took manyyears for us to be seen as like adults, even though we were in our early twenties when we started. We were putinto this weird box of being seen like little girls playing dress up, which was tiresome. Thankfully, lot has happenedin the last fifteen years in terms of awareness around female artists and queer artists and differing points of view.It feels good to talk about these things. It feels good to be a part of that.”
