Accessible Booking Guide!

Please Note that Electric Ballroom is a non seated venue. Therefore we only have limited spaces for accessibility customers available. Accessible tickets can sell out very quickly and we recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as an event has gone on sale.

An allocation for Wheelchair Access Tickets and ACCESSIBLE TICKETS (SEATED) is made available during our Venue General Sale (link to our Event Listings)! Please make sure you buy the correct ticket! We do not exchange wrongly purchased tickets to Accessible Tickets! All Access Requests need to be send in/completed latest 7days before a show.

Once these allocations are sold out, we cannot accept any further accessibility requests. If you require Accessibility tickets and these are no longer available, please do not purchase a Standing/GA ticket and expect to be accommodated as these will be refused. This is a strict policy to make sure the venue is safe for all customers.

All Access Ticket Holders are required to email is proof of disability / medical condition – Below is a list of documents we accept :

  • Nimbus Access Card (copy of physical card)
  • Blue Badge (both sides of physical card)
  • Letter from a medical professional (Letter from GP/nurse/hospital/occupational therapist)
  • Blind or partially sighted registration certificate (BD8 or CVI certificate)
  • Benefit award letters / PIP

Booking Wheelchair Access!

We have 4 wheelchair spaces available. The front door staff/member of security will assist wheelchair users to a raised platform which is near the stage and adjacent to a fire escape. They will also direct people to a disabled toilet.

All wheelchair users are required to buy a Wheelchair Access Ticket, which comes with one free carer ticket. Once the ticket order has been confirmed, you will need to provide us with evidence of disability or medical condition, which can be emailed to – [email protected] .  Due to the size of the access area, only the carer/PA will be allowed to join you, the venue will not accommodate further guests.

Booking a seat in the accessible seating area?

Attendees, who require seating, need to buy an ACCESSIBLE TICKET (SEATED) via our website. Our designated Access Area is solely for those with disabilities/less able to stand. The front door staff/member of security will show you to your seat!

Once the ticket order has been confirmed, you will need to provide us with evidence of disability or medical condition, which can be emailed to: [email protected].

These tickets DO NOT include a free carer/PA. Seats (Stools, with backrest on request) are located in our balcony area (no step free access).If you require a seat with backrest, please get in touch with us beforehand to request one for the show you are attending. Carer/PA will have to stand. Due to the size of the access area, only the carer/PA will be allowed to join you, we will not accommodate further guests.

Booking companion tickets?

Free Essential Companion tickets are intended for fans/attendees who requiring additional support and are only issued in conjunction with a blue badge, Nimbus Access Card ( (with the +1 symbol) and/or carer’s card. Free carer tickets are limits to one free carer per accessible ticket. To request a free companion ticket, email us proof to – [email protected] .

All companion tickets are subject to availability and may be excluded for certain performances. PA / Companion tickets will not be sent out before the event, these need to be collected on arrival at the venue. The carer/PA will have to stand. PA /Companion tickets won’t be authorised for anyone under the age of 16. By accepting the free ticket, the PA / Companion accepts responsibility for providing the support needed by the access customer to attend the event.

Please note that we operate Challenge 21, if your companion is under 18 we will not allow them to purchase alcohol on your behalf nor will that be done by our staff/security.

Accessible Toilet:

The accessible toilet is located downstairs next to the main floor opposite the round bar, and accessible via Radar Key which can be requested from our security staff!

Medical Requirements:

Attendees who need to bring medicines, medical equipment, food or drink to manage a medical condition –please get in touch with us by emailing [email protected] ahead of your event, and we’ll be happy to help.

Priority Entry:

If you struggle with queueing, please get in touch with us at [email protected] ahead of the event with your booking confirmation attached, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Assistance Animals:

If you will be attending a performance with an Assistance animal, please contact us in advance via: [email protected]

Accessible Parking:

The nearest accessible parking is the Sainsbury’s Carpark Camden located at 22 Kentish Town Rd, London NW1 9NR, which features designated wheelchair-accessible parking spaces and is just a 3-minute walk away (link to Camden website).

Nearest Accessible Public Transport:

The nearest fully accessible public transport is the nearby bus network or Camden Road Station (link to Transport for London website). 

London Underground (Note on Accessibility): While Camden Town Tube Station (Northern Line) is only a 2-minute walk away, it does not have step-free access (it features heavy congestion, escalators, and a large number of stairs/spiral staircases).

Drop off points:

The closest side streets accessible to cars are located just behind or adjacent to the venue:

  • Jamestown Road (Most Convenient): This street runs directly perpendicular to the High Street right next to the Electric Ballroom. Drivers can pull into Jamestown Road to let you out, leaving you with less than a minute’s walk to the venue entrance.
  • Greenland Street / Bayham Street: Located just south of the station. Drivers can pull over on Greenland Street, allowing you to walk up through the tube station intersection straight to the venue.
  • Parkway: Drivers can drop you off on the approach to the main Britannia junction, placing you just across the street from the venue.

For Club nights:

Wheelchair users can access all of the main (ground) floor. Front door staff will show them to an entrance/exit which has no steps.
